STAY IN TOUCH

This poem was written in my early stage of Self searching… sharing my thoughts on the process… because it’s not an easy road yet it is an easy road!

Head Up

It’s been said that if you can look up then you can get up… and if you can get up then you can lift your arms in praise and praise because everything has its season
And as winter changes from its cold husk to the warm dust that blow in spring… we must find meaning in life and reason to live
Because optimism is a choice and pessimism is the vice that holds minds lifeless… clueless and sleepless in Seattle
The battle is with Self and no one can help Self until Self is ready for Self Help…
And no one can Self Help or help serve until they serve Self or Self serve themselves…
Truly the only service that Self needs is the service that will allow Self to feed its Self and bleed its Self with the strength and power found within Self
So the only advice that a wise man can give to a growing mind that wants to live and refuses to just exist… is to stay optimistic and live with optimism
And even through times when the vision is blurred and life is stirred from the 4 winds… Know that victory will always go to the one who can endure
Because the race is not for the swift but for the pure in heart who know…
From the start life gives you what you ask for whether it is through your mouth or through your thoughts…
And whether your thoughts are clean or clean in parts it will manifest its Self because as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he
So when you’re looking up in a daze from the haze that life just gave… remember there are better days ahead as long as you keep it up to the sky
Knowing that if you can look up then you can get up and if you can get up then you can lift your arms in praise and praise
Because everything has its season and now is time for your season to change
